Possibility of Moving the wiki to Gamepedia.

So Gamepedia has opened up for suggestion for game wikis to be added. I took the opportunity to contact them and ask if they would like the Awesomenauts Wiki on their service. They have gotten back to me and would be happy to help us move over to their service. If you are unaware Gamepedia is like wikia but for games only. One of the biggest differnces is they provide alot more screenspace to wiki and less to things like ads. Check out dota2.gamepedia.com for an example of how they lay out their wikis.

They provide service for moving a wiki from wikia to their page so we dont have to rebuild from scratch. I will probably have to redo all the templates so that they fit the new screen widths. I'll definately be more active during the transition and make sure everything is in order before going into another hibernation.

So what I really want to know from you guys is if this is something you want to do? At this point you guys have built more of this wiki then I have so your favor on the move would be needed if I'm going to procede. Please any input/questions is welcome on this matter.

Thanks

Yea I beleive we need admin before we can change that. I still dont even have admin yet so just be patient my guess they ended there day early because its a Friday. Also are go to support is Game Widow he (she?) is the one assigned to our wiki. I beleive you can find her by searching her on the wiki.

Isn't there a way to use my wikia account?

Is there an equivalent to "wikia activity" there? I can't seem to keep track of the edits being made. Also the main page slider is linking to their images instead of the actual pages. I'm not sure how to find this "Game Widow" person.

Feeling kinda lost right now. :P

I've been looking at some of the gamepedia pages and it seems that many 'naut upgrade images are not displaying properly on the gamepedia. I don't know the reason for this.

Also, consolenauts seem to be broken entirely.

I have the Gnaw and Voltar announcers ready to be uploaded, but... are we going on with this? Is this something expected right now? Should I be patient? Because right now, a good portion of the gamepedia is broken. To me, at least

I want to be sure of what are we going to do with the wiki. I have about 180 soundfiles and I don't want to upload them to the wrong place only to have to do so again.

Alot of the upgrade icons are broken on wikia it seems. And they seem to be the same ones. So thats not Gamepedia's fault. I think the peple ate gamepedia didnt go through and make sure the consolenaut stuff was working like they did with the rest. We might just have to go in and twerk so of those to get them working.

We are going ahead with the switch. The fact that they moved everything over as they did is pretty impressive the few kinks that still need to be worked out are expected.

Very well then. I managed to fix clunk's quick n' cleaner image on gamepedia but I couldn't do the same for froggy for whatever reason.

I'll try again tomorrow, I guess.

EDIT: nvm, I seem to have figured it out. All 'naut upgrades are properly displayed now. :D
